If you would like me to paint a picture for you, do email me. We all own things that we love and know people who have hobbies and interests, and often these objects tell a story about who we are. They are essentially an extension of ourselves and important. When a loved one dies often these objects act as a comfort in their familiarity. It’s an honour to paint peoples treasures. It’s a lovely thing to do.

Commissions

For Dave

A painting done for Dave’s birthday. Dave loves succulents, and has an abundance of them in a fantastic array of pots of different shapes and sizes. He also loves fish, which we can see from one of the pots, and he plays harmonica in a skiffle band.

For Kate

Memories of Kate’s mum. Presents that Kate had recieved from her mum and a painting showing her love for birds, which were also little treasures that Kate had inherited.

For Sharon

Commissioned by her sister as a present, this piece includes a few precious items that were left in the house after their mum died. The pattern is a favourite fabric and the colours are warm blues and oranges to reflect Sharons love for holidays abroad. It is a combination of things that the sisters shared and memories of their mum.
